Documenting the wedding of a colleague is one of the very highest honors... and especially so if it is the extremely talented Sydnee Bickett Photography. Sydnee and Luis' story is one of true love, and it was obvious to all who shared in their wonderfully unique celebration. The Bride transformed her great grandmother's blue/blush pink wedding dress into a modern gown (hello pockets!), and carried a stunning felted bouquet. Married at the Day Block Event Center in downtown Minneapolis, every element of their celebration was personalized... from a bicycle theme with custom bow ties and a spoke backdrop, to an accordion ceremony serenade and live bluegrass music, vow moments captured on polaroids, heart-felt speeches in both English and Spanish, a super delicious pizza bar (accompanied by hand-sewn cloth napkins for their guests to keep!), and some very competitive (wait for it) BINGO! to end the evening... Luis + Sydnee certainly put their own stamp of love and fun on the day. Here's to many years of great pizza, fun games and endless adventures ahead, together!

Page and Brady hosted the coziest Fall wedding EVER at the Loring Social event center in downtown Minneapolis. These two braved the chilly MN temps for a very romantic First Look in the park and once inside they were were surrounded by timeless elements including stunning chandeliers, hundreds of votives, and a plethora of roses (that gorgeous ceremony arbor!). Plus, lots of amazing food. And the evening was topped off with a pretty epic confetti pop! Congratulations Brady + Page!

There's no better place for a stunning, historic back-drop in Saint Paul than the James J. Hill Library downtown, and Emily + Ryan provided their guests will a wonderfully sophisticated, black-tie evening of love and celebration. This dynamic couple successfully added a variety of personal touches to their wedding to make the event truly unique... they shared a romantic First Look in between the tall stacks of reference books and (in full gentleman form) the groom greeted all his guests upon their arrival. Ryan + Emily also had a professional artist make a live painting during their ceremony! As the sun went down, they enjoyed a delicious meal, followed by lots of laughing children on the dance floor. Congratulations Emily + Ryan!

Amanda + Steve took advantage of every single moment that the last perfect Fall day offered them! They surrounded themselves with lots of laughter and support from friends in the morning, nailed a super fun First Look in downtown Minneapolis (complete with the bride's sister-squad!), made colorful portraits in the park and at the Stone Arch Bridge, and then met their 50 closest friends and family for a cozy ceremony at The Copper Hen restaurant. These two walked each other down the isle (swoon!) and proceeded to have one the the most hilariously sweet wedding ceremonies that I've ever witnessed. Their Fall theme was complete with mini pumpkins as place cards, inspired signature cocktails, and delicious comfort food. The final touch was that every single guest hit the dance floor! Amanda + Steve, if your life together is even half as fun as your wedding was, then you're in for a real treat! :)

Rachel and Eric's wedding day was absolute perfection, in small form. With just 45 guests, this bride and groom were able to create a truly unique event that incorporated their mutual loves of the outdoors, great food, games and (wait for it)... karaoke! To start, it was a brisk, MN Fall afternoon and the banks of the Mississippi provided for a very colorful portrait background. After a romantic outdoor ceremony, the guests were treated to a delicious meal in the private "River Room" of the Aster Cafe in Saint Anthony Main, Minneapolis. During the reception, their friends enjoyed heart-felt speeches, photo collages of the couple through the decades, plenty of card games, and super yummy mini-bundt cakes for dessert. To finish the evening on an even higher note, the couple sang a duet! And when it came time to keep the party going with more song, their friends did not disappoint. Eric + Rachel, you really made us appreciate the charm of an intimate wedding celebration -- congrats and well done!
