Figuring out what to wear for your engagement session can sometimes be overwhelming and feel even more difficult than deciding on a wedding dress! Don't fear... here are my top tips to keep you from loosing your mind while you pull everything out of your closet :)
+ Get comfortable :: Most importantly, you should feel at ease in your clothes. If you feel uncomfortable then you will certainly look uncomfortable on camera. Select pieces that you can move in easily and that make you happy!
+ Options, options, options! :: You can never have too many of these. Plan for both a casual look and a semi-formal outfit (at least 2 options for both of these looks). Bring a variety of dresses, pants, shirts, jackets, shoes and accessories. *See my Pinterest Boards below for ideas.
+ Complement each other :: No, you don't have to be matchy-matchy. Simply choose different shades of colors (and patterns!) that look pleasing together and are the same level of "dressiness".
+ Show off your personalities :: Do embrace your personal style. Whether that's super laid-back or bold, you shouldn't be afraid of fun colors, interesting patterns or simple classics that speak to who you are. Think about pieces that make you feel unique, maybe... a bow tie, a sparkly top, statement shoes!, chunky jewelry, your fav maxi dress, a swanky sport coat, fun rain boots, an awesome scarf from your travels, etc.
+ Try to Avoid ::
Major changes to your hair or make-up
Trendy clothing pieces that will go out of style quickly
Baggy or ill-fitting clothing
