I’m a Minnesota + Wisconsin Wedding Photographer, specializing in romantic, timeless imagery in a style fusion of editorial and photojournalism. What does that mean? I love people and I am a storyteller. I strive to capture the realness and honesty of a moment, in a stylish and personalized way. I pay extra attention to the emotion and details that make an event or person truly unique, taking photographs that narrate a story of the entire day and portray my subjects as genuinely as possible.

You should probably know… I cry at weddings! That’s because I enjoy getting to know my clients very well, so I can successfully interpret the love that they share in my imagery {I consider the crying just part of the whole package}. My passion for the visual arts began while I was studying filmmaking in Paris over 12 years ago, and I have been fascinated by photography – the balance between the technical + creative – ever since. With a background in visual anthropology and classic film/story technique, I’m genuinely engaged in my subjects, their shared experiences, and being witness to every emotion. Documenting stories of love + friendship + kindness intrigues and delights me – and the very best thing is that I get to be an integral part of the storytelling. Capturing unique life moments is what makes my heart sing.
